It has certainly been a year for the history books. The future continues to be full of questions. But one thing remains the same. Distance Mushing is Awesome! I, Jodi, credit dogs and art for keeping me safe and sane during all this. Dan questions the sanity part, but he has always questioned my sanity. I have however backed off on some duties in order to make time for self care. And yes my friends the blog was one of those things.
But races are running in Alaska, excitement is brewing, and I am not immune to it, so the Dew Claw Blog is going to be back in action. *In addition I am continuing my Instagram education, fumbling really, I did get a new iPhone with a totally awesome camera and am excited to share more photos with y’all.

This winter we are limiting tours and focusing on staying healthy. But we are also very fortunate to be participating in the 300 mile version of the Yukon Quest, called the Summit Quest, as well as the Iditarod.
