Quad Training Runs

September 15, 2018 Posted by Jodi Dew Claw News, Mushing, the Dogs

As you run up and out into the White Mountains the world opens up with a great 360 view.

Well my friends if you ‘Like’ Dew Claw on Facebook*, then you already know that Victoria is the one with the mad media skills.  Her morning training run post from today (9/14) is fantastic.  But it is only half the story. We are getting at least 2 teams out every morning right now as we prepare the team for races and rides. Today both of us went out armed with cameras. And in spite of the fact that mine is not as professional looking, I hope it still captures the spirit of how amazing our mornings are right now.

Fall training is one of the most exciting and beautiful times in Alaska. Seeing the team come together as they build capacity for the winter ahead. Working together to get stronger and run longer. While all around you Mother Nature is having a fall fit of colors. Not only is it fun for all, but you have the satisfaction of knowing that these early season miles are what is going to allow the team to be in great shape and ready to go when the snow comes.

*And if you haven’t ‘Liked’ us on Facebook, please consider heading over there to check out Victoria’s video and hit us up with a ‘Like’.

Here is my attempt at a training run video for your enjoyment ~
