Join us in welcoming the (yet to be named) newest litter of Dew Claw dogs to the world.   These adorable snugly little fur balls are the product of a planned breeding that was some time in the making.  The mom, Bearing, and her sister Axle are beautiful dogs we purchased as yearlings from champion musher Martin Buser.   The dad, Bailey* is part of the dynamic duo Barnum & Bailey on champion musher Jeff King’s team.   And if it seems like we are very proud of these puppies family tree, well we are. We do not breed often** at Dew Claw, so when we do we strive to breed the best dogs possible.  With proper care, nutrition, socialization and training we feel this litter has the potential to be exceptional dogs.

It has been hard to get anything done around here with these cute little squeakers taking up residence in the main room downstairs.  So I am going to cut the dialog short and get right to the best part….

*Some of you may remember that Dew Claw has bred to King’s Bailey before.He bred with our lead dog BedBug, and the result was a beautiful litter of pups we call the Space Cadets.

**If the truth be told we spend way more time and effort preventing breeding then we do raising puppies. Our kennel management includes a spay neuter program, monitoring females, and large safe pens for when females are in heat. Dew Claw Kennel does not breed dogs for sale, we are committed to being responsible for all our dogs for life.  We do, however, sometimes re-home dogs to approved pet or recreational homes if the opportunity arises and it is in the best interest of the dog.
