So as a follow up to the Frost Cam I grabbed the camera and headed out for a training run in what, by Alaska standards, is a heat wave. Much easier to use the camera at 20 above, I got a few more photos then Dan at 20 below. Mushing at 15 to 20 above is rare this time of year. Not quite a treat, as I expect my winter to be… well like winter. But I learned a long time ago that when you dance with Mother Nature she leads. And so off into the warm December I went for a nice long run.
The dogs are looking fit and happy, and enjoying the longer runs. Our young dogs, the Rascals, are all grown up and fitting right in. You can hardly tell them from the seasoned raced dogs when they are all running together.
